New Pilot basics from a new pilot!
I recently posted my success with flying and learning How to get the guts to take your new plane in The air without a real pro training you. Using a buddy box At the local field, etc.
My course of action was A, B, C!
A. Flight sim on your PC.
B. ParkZone Mini Vapor
C. Hobby Zone Champ.
Process in ABC order. 5-10 hours on a sim.
Mini Vapor in doors, if you can find a place large Enough.
Then the Champ in as big an open area as you Can find, without trees, power lines, etc.
The Mini Vapor is a great tool after the flight sim. The plane is super effected by the slightest breeze, And brings an awareness to flying that the sim Cannot represent.
Here's the mini Vapor outside, where I work. It's a Courtyard between two tall buildings that cut the gusts A little!

That was what I was looking for. The Mini-Vapor doesn't fly like a Vapor. It's much dartier and twitchy. That thing was really moving out! Seems to have much higher wing loading.
You ought to try flying a regular Night Vapor (too bad you can't buy the original version as it was lighter). It is one amazing flier that will have you saying "wow!" no matter how much flying experience you have.

Well he's flying outside... if you don't have to deal with that, the Mini flies pretty slow. If you use the stock battery and you get the balance right, it's slightly faster than the big Vapor but not much.
