Nerves finally started going away today I flew 3 full batteries with full on fast forward figure 8's with the Tarot 450, felt totally comfortable. My landings are nice and easy now. Next time I will try fast circles...only reason i didn't do it today is having the heli flying towards me fast is kinda freaky..I'll do it all day long with the 130x though.

Yes, the intimidation factor certainly goes up with the size of the heli, that's for sure!

Here's a quick vid of my 450 Pro. Similar to yours I think. I'm not loving it, but it does fly. I should have taken it up a long time ago.

The sound of it really worries me, and it has a sticky feel to it, like the servos aren't really up to the task. I have a lot of complaints about the kit itself, and I doubt a beginner could have gotten my kit to fly as well as it does. I had to use my expertise to make it work.

Strange. Well i'm really happy with my tarot kit. and I'm a noob...but I'm very techy type person so it was easy for me.

I don't like how Laggy/slow it feels on the sticks so I let my friend fly it and he said it flies awesome. I guess 450's just fly less responsive to my mcpx and 130x.

I do still need to play with the dead zone settings in the software I think thats what my problem is.

He wants to change his motor and pinion now he said mine has way more headseed and power. I'm using a 12T pinion and the 3800kv tarot motor. It mooooves.

Well these clones are all different, and I'm pretty sure the problem is in the tail drive, which I will replace with Align parts and see if it helps. If it makes a big difference I'll shoot more video. It has plenty of power but yes, these 450s have more inertia so they do move a little slower.

3 More batteries flown!, I'm doing figure 8's and I think I did one circle...i'm still pretty nervous and shakey but the nerves are fading fast.

I mounted my Contour HD helmet camera to the Heli today. It is mounted with 3m Dual Lock, and a zip tie for extra safety.

Nice vid. I can see how rock solid it is when the cyclic is still. The gyro is keeping the attitude constant. You have a zyx-s, right?

Yea its totally solid when im not bumping the sticks. ( Some of the shakey is from my thumbs actually shaking! ) I'm still nervous to fly it lol.

Update: I'm up to 16 flights on this heli, its still flying awesome and zero accidents from the first time. Doing forward flight, circles, figure 8's..etc.

I will be attempting a loop next time if I ever get a break in the weather. ( Cold and snowy/windy now ). Will be sure to get it on video haha.

Yeah me too. I need some good indoor flying areas. We have an indoor fly-in once a month, but it's kinda expensive. The guy at the hobby shop lets us use the back room to fly, but it's too small for anything but micros. The 130X is a little crowded in there.

Im kinda lucky there. I work nights at one of our high schools. So I have access to the gym when nobodys there.
