Dumpster got within 1 bootslength, 5 feet, I think he would have made it
, but than he had a short look back and saw how far out he was and was smart enough to turn back.

If I drive like a teen, 15 minutes, if I don't drive like a teen 14 minutes
.I live on Granat Messa, North of Dolores, and I mostly take the House Creek boat ramp, Rd 526, I live on Rd W East. So it is just very convinient.. In the Summer with SW wind I have to sail out of House Creek, towards the lake, as I did on that trip. In the Fall or Spring with NW winds I can stay in House Creek. The SW do not get into that narrow canyon to well. House Creek has smooth water, the Lake is rather choppy, You better have a well sealed boat, because a lot of water will come over. |

I should have posted here before starting a new thread. Anyway, here's my CR-914 on the water for the first time in years. The sailing site is out our back door. I need to think about a second boat now...
