Thanks a lot. I wish I had more progress but the water main in my finished basement decided to break. The original plumber put a coupler on the 3/4in pipe but one side was not inserted, it was just butted up and then soldered. After 14 years the solder broke and flooded things out, luckily the workshop was untouched. So all of my extra time and money are going into rebuilding the basement but the F-4 should be back on track in a few weeks. The rotor molds have PVA on them and are ready for carbon so stay tuned.

Im back! My basement flooded out and I have spent the last 1.5 months redoing the drywall, painting and getting it back to a final finish. If I spent the same amount of time and money on the F-4 there would be tons of them screaming around. I was able to finish infusing a carbon rotor tonight. First I tacked in some carbon tow to the mold, closed it with clamps, and then used caulk to add a little reservoir made from a cup to the outside. Epoxy was then poured into the reservoir and a vacuum applied to the top. The epoxy was pulled through the blades and up the middle to the top. When it started to come out the top I stopped the vacuum and will let it cure for the night. Hopefully there is a perfect rotor waiting inside.

I just pulled apart the mold and there is a perfect rotor inside. I will wait until tonight to pull it out of the mold, the epoxy isn't totally hard.

The first rotor came out well. Now it just needs trimming and balancing. I just shot some PVA on the rotor molds to make one more. I will take more pics on how that one is made.

I finished my fan unit and installed it on the F-4. I spent about an hour balancing the fan and it runs SMOOTH! Next for the servos.
