There is an optional 6v power adapter that you can buy from Horizon. It will let you charge your battery from a wall socket.

I've not bought a Champ, so someone should confirm if its charger has the 6v port on it.

Hey Wullie,
I have both the Champ & the T28 & use several capacity(Mah) so I can have longer flight times. I recently acquired (3) 500Mah for some serious flight time(25+min.). I have modified the battery area so the different sizes fit easily & have a very thin plastic(my welding helmet lense covers) cut to fit so they hold the batteries in place in flight. Never had one come loose with this setup.

You have to be quite careful to insure your CG is correct & placement of the different batteries can be marked with a felt pen. I use my regular charger with a pigtail that has (6) Champ battery connectors so I can do (6) batteries at a time. Here are some pics.... hope they help you.

Denny

I have several Champs and I use this AC adapter to plug into the stock charger that comes with the Champ. It saves on having to buy batteries for the charger.

Yes, IF the selectable voltage has a voltage that matches the voltage required by the Champ charger and a plug that matches the receptacle on the Champ charger (Size and pin polarity).

The voltage and pin polarity are embossed on the charger next to the receptacle.
