The white version is using the Thunderbird 18 and the painted version is using a Phoenix 10
Yes Red 61, this is the plane from Backyard Flyer.
They are supposed to be publishing my plans either in the magazine or online.
Sureflite.com just ordered 50 kits to be made. (some place in New York )Not up on the site yet.
E-mail them if you are interested email@example.com
The plans are easy to build from but laser cut foam is soooo nice, especially when you have to do everything four times
The white version was built to photograph the construction.

I used a stick and paper model to get a close CG approximation.
The rear fins have clear Lexan enlargers. With the profile fuselage and fins ahead of the aerodynamic center, I needed some help to have yaw stabilization.

That is sweet. Nice job and thanks for sharing. I bet the blue angels would be jealous of how tight your formation can fly, loop, roll, etc.....
