Little depron profile trainer :-)

This is a little Cessna look alike i had built over a weekend a few weeks ago.
Seeming that the cold and windy winter was setting on over hear i though that a good slow flyer for indoors would be needed. Thus this came along.
I had the idea for a long while but was not too confident in it.
But to my surprise it has turned out to be quite good.
The profile plane was just a measure twice and cut once complete scratch build with no plans at all.It has a fairly large wing size. And light weight,it could be a lot lighter but for now will do.
A 120w brushless outrunner purchased quite a while ago from brc hobbies plus a 12A esc.
2 cell 700mah lipo.
And for now the only prop i have left until i go to my local model shop is a cut down GWS 9 x 4 i think.
I will get the scales out tomorrow once i find them and to a guess it comes out at around 250g.
What amazes me is that it has had 5 full on crashes and it just bounces
Maybe a little damaged but nothing a little bit of glue cannot fix.
Pics to follow.

Quick question. How did you attach the wing?

May I say how encouraging it is to see young people today enjoying this hobby, rather than out mugging, old ladies to pay for their next fix, or "popping caps' in one another's asses", I think the expression is? !! I must say, I also thought the music very jolly!! Are you thinking of posting any plans, this might be an ideal project to keep my 44year old daughter from joining a hoody gang.

The plane had been crashed and is now buried 6 foot under
But it will rise again soon. Looking better and flying even better
Keep posted .
Will try to create plans when a new one is built

Nice plane ootay, and some pretty good flying too. Nice thing about foam, it's cheap, you can build another. You might think about building the next one with EPP, it would be almost indestructable, any tears can quickly be fixed with a little hot glue.

I was hoping to find a plane for this cute little trainer profile. Laying around in my room a couple of 6mm depron sheet, thought it would be great if I can have one for my self this trainer baby.

Any chance I can get the plan for my 6mm depron? Was looking to built it for at least 32inch wingspan to suit with my motor.
