3Don,

Video is impressive. Can you give us the wing area for the Citrino?

Citrino kits have arrived in the US today. I only had a chance to take a very quick look, but the milling quality and printing is extremely good. Price will be USD 105 plus shipping. For those that have already contacted me, I'll be sending followup emails Friday/Saturday.

Hopefully I'll have time to get one started this weekend.

@ Dave Whitt - very rough measurement, I'd say about 450 square inches of wing.

Regards,

Dave

It looks nice. Apparently biplanes have not fallen out of vogue for F3P, as some have suggested.

FWIW, a video of the model flying AP13 in Coburg (courtesy of Jurgen )

edit - just watched it right through, and there is a glimpse of me at ~2:21, leaning against the railing up in the stands

This weekend we made some video shooting of two Citrinos flying in big gym. should be great video once I will finish with editing. So far all Citrino owners before building please take a look to building manual:

I find it interesting that the milling is done in a perpendicular pattern, and not diagonally like so many other planes. Sure, why not?

Hi Donatas,

Good timing on posting the manual, I picked up my kit from the post office today

(Thanks for the quick service Dave )

I will post some build pictures as I go if I do anything different than the manual.

Question for you about the throttle curve, you mention limiting power to 63%.
How do you decide on this amount? More of a general F3P question than specific to this model.
I need to work on this to get more even flying speed through the sequence.

Thanks,

Pat MacKenzie
