Hey Mongrel,
Do you need to modify the servos to be full revolution servos for the pan/tilt gear?

Are you talking about the Antenna pan and tilt. The almost go full - but not 360. They are Hitec.

We are back on deck Monday! :)

Yep, after a well earned rest, we are back on deck on Monday and so I thought I would post some updates.

TBS Gear now online!! Yep, the TBS gear is now online and best of all IN STOCK!! Frame kits, ARFs, COREs etc. We have some motors and ESCs, but I need to work out how many I have left after the ARFs are built. I will put them up soon.

You can find it here... http://www.mongrelgear.com.au/the-mo...category_id=33

Also... We have launched the first of our new Bird Dog products. Carbon props!
These will be soon followed up with ESCs and Motors etc. The motors will run quality bearings, and the ESCs all with SimonK firmware. These motors and ESCs will be available within weeks.

Props are here...

Hi Grazer,

Yes I know! We had an order come in overnight that took most of the stock, and then a few others finished it. That's over 112 sets of props, (440 individual)

I was not expecting that!!

New stock is on the way - about a week I reckon.

Hi MG

What's the difference in your set http://www.mongrelgear.com.au/the-mo...category_id=31 and this one http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...d_5_8G_TX.html other than the nearly $300 hundred dollar difference?

Hi Finney,

Quite a bit actually - Thanks for asking.

1) HK Product includes the Predator Goggles - MG product is Dominator Goggles
The Doms have a larger field of view over the Preds. The Doms also have the ability to add head tracking. You can't on the Preds.

2) The HK kit comes with a 250mW Fat Shark Tx - Where the MG kit comes with an ImmersionRC 600mW Tx.

3) The HK kit comes with an NTSC CMOS Camera - Where the MG kit comes with the Fat Shark PAL CCD Pilots cam
CMOS Cameras are the ones that suffer from the "jello" affect. CCD don't!

We don't have this kit available at the moment mainly because the Attitude Goggles are just far too popular to bother with the Dominators right now.

Cheers

Hi MG

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain it. I am new to all this FPV thing and searching for gear and really appreciate the time taken to break it down. You will certainly be considered when purchasing gear.

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob,

No problems at all.

If you need any help, or need info on different gear etc etc, either pop a question here, or email me directly. Happy to help you where I can.

Cheers
John
