Here are my "toy" combat planes. One of these days I'm going to get a real one. I just sport fly with one plane in the circle. That first one used to be a Li'l Jumpin' Bean. I added static flaps for more wing area, tail booms with a larger stab and a Norvel .061. At 6.40z, it's a handful.

nice looking planes fellas...I don't seem to see a Corsair amongst the bunch...

MigMan can testify that I did a coro corsair for SSC combat, in fact I did about 7 others also, I also did a coro p-40, me152 and a H-61 for the 2548 scale class for combat.
its all doable, get the 3 views and start cutting and folding the problem with some of the scale planes is, especialy on the radial engine ones, the fuse gets pretty big and the prop that is specified doesnt stick out past the fuse very much and there hard to handle and launch, especially the 2548 class in-lines make better planes for combat |

combat Corsair does sound interesting..the one I'm building will be flown mostlt as a sport flyer.(No one in my club flies combat)...I have several engines to try in it...the neat thing I just discovered is..
...my Saito 30fs ...OS 30fs...& my Thunder Tiger 25 2 cycle all fit the same mount. I know it will be faster with the 25 2 cycle but I like the putt-putt of the 4 cycles.
