Build Log
Fundango

I bought this kit 10 maybe 12 years ago my life got super busy and I stopped building and flying. I recently got back into the hobby my first build was a little Guillows Cub I had so much fun with it I immediately put a new project on my building board.

This kit was designed for a speed 400 brushed motor, and nicad batteries. I want to go brushless with lipo. I am not sure what motor size or how to pair ESC with motor as I am new to electric.

I do know how to build so I started the build. I will figure out the power system as I go. Any suggestions or help on how to figure that out will be appreciated.

35" wing with 350 sq in of area. I think it should come in at under 1 lbs

i suggest the Park 370: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...rodID=EFLM1200

if you'd like you can try the Park 400s listed here: http://www.e-fliterc.com/PowerSystem...ss.aspx?Page=2 (listed at end of page)
or the higher kv Park 370: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...rodID=EFLM1205

use the watts/lb guidelines to decide: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/Hi...odID=EFLM4010A

ps - prop range, ESC, batt info, are all provided on the websites of each motor. so you should be set.
