Air Combat today in Salisbury Maryland

MARKS (Mid Atlantic Radio Kontrol society) is have our annual Air Combat event today. It was a blast last year! Our field is near Salisbury, Maryland, the Eastern Shore. It is about 30 miles form the ocean, and 20 from the Chesapeake bay.
Here is the video, 7 min:

The second round camera work really captured a nice furball! Looks like it was a good turnout.
I love the SSC (Super Speedy Combat) from 6:08 - 6:44 cool.

Thanks! The video was getting a bit long, so I speeded things up a bit. It is shame really, but we only had 4 show up this year, and 8 had signed up. It wasn't the local weather either, it was a beautiful day, and about 85 degrees.

You can fly combat all day with slightly smaller, [much lighter], less powerful planes at 35 mph with tighter action and very little wreckage.
It's the wreckage, time spent repairing and overall expense that drives people away from this sport.

For years...

Have family down near Rehobeth Beach, and for years I've wanted to plan a visit along with combat. Not too late... maybe in the next year or so.
