Frozen PVA

I just realized I have some PVA out in the garage. Been there all winter frozen hard as a rock. Will it be OK to use or should I pitch it?

Wow, how cold does it get?!?

Has it returned to liquid once warmed? If so, I'd do a test layup on some scrap parting plane or an old wing. If it releases - happy days. If not, PVA's cheap...

PVA (glue) is ruined after freezing. I would not use it.

PVA release agent, I have no idea. It must have gotten REALLY cold out there if you froze PVA release agent.

It's PVA release agent. It was -15 this morning. Maybe I'm wrong that it freezes at that temp

Never... EVER... Take chances with release agents.

You would be asking for trouble...

Well, that can be said for most things. However, PVA has as its main ingredient industrial methylated spirits... alcohol.

When was the last time you saw a bottle of alcohol freeze?

That's why I asked how cold it gets! My freezer goes to -18C, and that doesn't freeze vodka (but beer makes nice ice blocks )
