You can get all the parts in 1 stop from Dylan or topcopter. Yes you do need to get an esc flashed but both of them can do that for you for 5 dollars if they have 1 in stock. You could also buy a USB flash stick from either one and Flash the esc yourself

Yeah I did out of washers. The hawk 12000kv tail motor looks like an almost drop in motor.

Indoor: Any better pics or tips on how you did your brushless mount? Also, what motor did you end up using?

I saw that HobbyKing has a similar motor to that's Hawk 12000kv. It's out of stock at the moment though.

Just picked one of these little buggers up, flew the 2 stock packs and really enjoyed it, it held the tail MUCH better than my old mcpx.

Did he mention what more he went with for the high power? hp03s 16600kv?

To me It really looks like the hp03s on 8 tooth but I could be wrong. When I tried the 8 tooth it looked pretty close to that power but it was only me always behind the sticks so I couldn't see what it really could do

Oh I thought he was going to go with something crazy for the HP and not just the pinion change. It is nice to see what the heli can do in the proper hands.

I really liked the 8T just it didnt like my batteries. Though even the 7T is picky on batteries in the 150 size. Here is a horrible video but it is the only time I filmed the brushless 7t. At first I flew with a battery that had around 30 flights and then went to a new one. Crappy vid or not it still shows how snappy it is with a 7T

I think I am going to jump back on the 8 tooth bandwagon and just deal with the weight of a better battery.
