OS Wankel engines

I purchased a great twin and it has Wankel engines installed. Previously flown, it is a great flier and I know NOTHING about Wankels. What do I need to know for careing for them?

Nice engines. Powerful and heavy. Uses a lot of fuel, wet running. do not over or under prop.
Very quiet little or no vibration. My experience is from running one on a arf designed for a .46. Long takeoff run but when in the air power and speed to spare. Really like it!

These engines are revvers.... Mine liked the Graupner 8-6 3 blade a lot, but anything in that range should be good. A 10-4 will overheat the engine, from memory. You definitely won't confuse it for a 4 stroke... Really neat engines!

That was my experience as well. It acts similar to a .25 (maybe a 32?) from a power and proping perspective. I still have one, but it hasn't flown in 20 years or more....
