5V BEC - How much can it take?
Been thinking about power for my quadcopter, and I'm looking at the list of things that need power supplied to them:
5v crius control board
5v speed controller (x4)
5v bluetooth serial board
How do you guys run power to all this stuff?
I've been running a skywalker 4 in 1 controller, a receiver, a crius, and a GPS just fine so far. The OSD and video transmitter run directly off my 3S main lipo but it could be run directly off 5v so it doesn't tax the ESC's BEC so much.
So.... how do you guys run your setups, do you run a separate BEC, do you have an 11,1 and a 5v buss?

I could be wrong, but I don't think your ESCs will enter into the equation here. It sounds like these are all "logic-level" components, unlikely to draw more than 500mA each (And in most cases much less).
Someone please feel free to correct me, as I'm sort of new at this...
