Have you every done a conversion on any plane?

This one looks real simple. Hatches are already done, just mount a motor and fit the
electronics.

Powerup speed 40 on 4s with a 11X6. 50a esc, 4s

4s 3300

mounting the motor and electronics' should be real easy, the problem I always have is the motor and esc that I should use.

Should I mount the esc out side the fuse on the bottom of the plane or should try to make cooling holes through the fuse?

Open up a few holes. Look at the site I linked to, they have a place to ask for
motor, esc combo recommendations. They are good people.

The battery I noted may be too long, you need to measure the fuel tank
compartment to see how long the battery can be??

BTW, the Tower Uproar is about the same plane, slight variations.

Hey Bill,

Just one mans opinion but to my mind it's not a good candidate for conversion. The area forward of the wing is too small and cramped for a decent battery and the way the wing is held in the fuse makes for very little room aft of the hatch.

Sure it can be done but I think battery management will be a pain a the flying field and I am not sure you can get the CG as far aft as this kind of plane needs to reach it's potential (unless you want an undazzling Dazzler! )
