Hobby King did NOT rip me off

I give up. I have tried since November of 2011 to get my missing parts for the 2730DIY motor kits. I have a ESC programming card and a Turnigy servo speed regulator which never worked and they refuse to refund my money or replace the parts.
BUYER BEWARE!!!
Another way to look at it. It's humane nature to change nothing when lots of money is being made.

Interesting. I ordered a couple Backordered items recently, and was not impressed by a lot of comments on Hobby Kings forum from a lot of unhappy clients. There was rumours of Hobby King going out of bussiness etc.
And it seems impossible to get hold of customer support. Not good for bussiness.

Hobby King delivered the missing parts to the motor kits ordered last Oct. 2011. Interesting that with all the bad service someone stuck to this project and came through. I now wonder if I had continued pressure on the subject if I could have had the other two defective parts replaced. In the end, it is not worth the hassle and time to save a couple bucks for unreliable parts and service. It fits the old adage, " If it sounds to good to be true...

I think HK's competitors might have the last laugh here. Do you really think the "big boys" are going to let HK take away their market share without a fight? What would you do if you were in their shoes? I think HK's reach may have overextended its grasp.

It's a miracle (of sorts) I received the missing parts for the kits I ordered. It only took 13 months.
So HK did not rip me off. But their customer service leaves something to be desired.

The way I see it to wait 13 months and who knows how much time you spent trying to get HK to send the parts, I think you did get RIPPED OFF. What excuse could possibly justify such terrible CS. I'm sure we'll see some great reasons why it's not HK's fault from?.

That is an insanely long time. Glad you at least got your parts though. I would be upset but I guess its better than nothing?

At least you came back to the thread and let people know HK did sort out the missing parts,ok not in a timely manner but as someone else has said,it's better late than never.

I guess there is the odd few that slip though the net but at least HK are getting this sort of thing sorted.

Out of curiosity, how would you know that?

I know that post is old, but I had a good laugh. That's kinda like saying we're all gonna get cured of our RC addition! haha! good one.
