Salt Water pool reception????

Been out of subs a long time but recently bought a Thunder Tiger Neptune.Still in the box but also having a salt water pool being built.I understand radio reception in various waters change and as a rule salt water is the worst.Just curious about those who have ran in salt water pools. The salt % is much lower so I am hoping the reception will be ok.Any experiences welcomed.

I have run my submarine in salt water before but only on the surface and at periscope depth. As soon as the water covers the conning tower, it loses signal.

I run in fresh water, but a friend of mine runs in salt. He says for subs you need a couple of inches of antenna above the surface.

The reason there is SONAR, is because RADAR does not work under water...

It begins to glitch as you go deeper. I have a salt water pool. You'll be ok as long as you don't go too deep or get too far away. My pool is very small and only 4' deep.
