Question
What to do with this?.........BEAST!

Guys I could use some collective suggestions and thoughts on this one

I have a 1515/1Y with a P32 that is collecting dust and is calling to me from the shelf begging to crank out crazy power

I need some airframe suggestions for an Apollo hotliner and I have an itch for a big plane that I desperately need to scratch Plus my eyes are crying for bigger

I know that it will go in the Hurricane E and the Energic the question is what are some others?

I have the NEU 1516 going to a PACE V4

Crazy on 6s, Have a CCPHX180 with a HV logic board.
Not sure on the prop as it's a 4kg bird and 3m...

Sugestions?

So I'm not the only one in this boat...Energic is unobtanium right now and not in stock anywhere in the world that I could find

WOW I just checked out that web site on the Pace 4 that is some serious Carbon beauty however how hard are they to obtain what is the wait time for delivery?

Well I can forget a Pace his website says that the delivery time will be spring 2017

That seems to be the problem with European planes...crazy long waits for everything to include answers to emails.

Where's China when you need them!

Not to be funny but that motor isn't that big. I fly them (Leo L4038/2200kv) in F5B. My setup is currently on 9S 1800mah with a GM 18.5x22. You could fit the 18.5x24 for sport flying and increase the battery to 2200mah cells. If you feel brave, move to 10S.

Bigger batteries will likely see the motor getting to hot and lead to CofG problems.

PACE V4 wise, I would question the strength in torsion of that nose with the hatch. With a full on F5B setup you will have some very strong forces to deal with. Next would be flutter on that elevator assembly. CoG may also be an issue if the main pack can not fit below the wing joiner as is the case with the Viking 2E.

I do not know of what other plane to suggest, perhaps an Avionik B14 ? Delivery can be very quick, recently I received a box full of those in only 4 weeks.

Thanks JJ I was wondering about using it in an F5B airframe as I have heard of guys using them in competition. Was really looking for something with a little more size but as you said I am limited. Any plane with a hatch is going to get a nose job with re-enforcing back to the wing...and it would be "experimental."
