Likely same as my DH9104. ON/OFF carrier modulation, guess you could call it AM. Proper name I suppose is continuous wave.
The receiver is super-regenerative (super-regen) and does not have a crystal. It has a tuned front end feeding what looks like a common base transistor pre-amplifier. Actually works very well considering the simplicity.
The ESky transmitter would have to be on the 27MHz band and if it is ON/OFF keyed carrier, then just a matter of re-tuning the receiver coil at the antenna wire on the helicopter.
However, the DH9053 likely also transmits control information by 4 channels, in 6 bit binary with a parity bit.. ESky transmitter not likely to work. I wouldn't even try.
