The crash that almost happened
How about a thread that tells the lucky stories where Murphy was cheated of getting his way.
One such was seen at the field yesterday. A pilot was 2/3rds through a flight when he sensed pitch control had gotten sluggish on his new Aeroworks Laser. As the plane made the turn back to the pits, he noted one elevator non responsive and shortly a non responsive aileron.
Removing the hatch revealed quickly the problem, the last two channel servo connectors had pulled out of the seven channel receiver. Fortunately both elevators and both ailerons were on separate channels.
