Matching Battery with Motor
I am new to building RC Planes and I am building one for my senior Grad Project. Now the guy I know gave me a Bell P-39 Airacobra and we are doing a gas to electric conversion. I know that the motor I would need would need to be between 550 watts to 600 watts. I also know I need a 4 cell battery. How would I match a motor and battery to make the plane not so heavy? The motor I have i believe is too heavy and too strong it is a 900 watt motor. Please answer with suggestions. Thank you.
