Upon request I have started this thread to discuss the production of 3D printed components to make FPV life easier. I shall post a few pics tomorrow of the back catalogue of designs I have, feel free to discuss and request designs.

Take your pic, The Gopro enclosures take a nakid gopro but will have mounting options If you want to move the lens cover over from your waterproof housing. Also, these mounts will only work for Gopro versions;

It will not accommodate the latest three Gopro units (White, Silver and Black if im not mistaken)

The DOSD Case now in black , There is a slight marbling effect in the top and bottom of the cases, such is the nature of the printer, The parts are printed into a very thin film of ABS, I can't use coloured ABS for this film as the impurities (colourings) prevent adhesion, so the film is natural white ABS. This is washed over with Acetone to dissolve the White ABS, diminishing this effect. The pictures below paint a better picture. Either way, Black cases are very cool. The fruits of my labour, personified in a camera mount, I present the hobbyking Reaper Pan and Tilt camera dome, specifically designed to suit the airframe as showcased by my customer and good friend, RCMonster99

yep the beauty of the mount is its crash-resistance. I got fed up with the plastic servo arms snapping every hard landing... CJ and I got talking

CJ I ordered a #16 cam with live video out, think you could print something for that? I'm going to have to get solidworks or something so you don't have to do all the work

a low profile pan/tilt for a HD808 would be awesome! maybe even just a pan option as well (All I need for my flying wing)

And something for Keychain HD to mount the X67 macro or wide angle lens.
Gluing them on is ok just centering is a pain :-))

Yes! That's what I was going to ask for. Actually it would be nice to have a standard board cam pan and tilt (SC2000 600TVL), with a flat plate that securely fits on top so we can mount our 808 keychains. Then I have the best of both worlds, and they both P&T together. The 808's don't make the best FPV cams due to no WDR.
This would be a modular add on plate, so you could sell it as an add-on to the basic P&T.
I have this rigged now, but the fiberglass P&T from HK is too flimsy and the wiggle makes jello.
I want something rock solid.

How about a complete replacement case for the 808 #16, we don't need a spy cam shape with a curved bottom that won't sit flat. With the external power, you don't even need the battery anymore, which means this case could be super thin. If you cut the case to match the plastic buttons that come with the keychain, we could just pop them in to the new case. Now incorporate this new case into the pan and tilt!
There are a ton of these #16 being sold, and the newest firmware just made it a serious contender with the GoPro market, at only $40! You would sell thousands of these since no one is using them as spy cams anymore, they are now sport cams.

but for older #11s case with kind shallow sleeve to fit x67 macro lens, as real wide angle is just to weird.
In these older keychains battery is so small it matches the original lens high
which still would make the case thinner. Let me know if pixs needed

GRRREAT idea! Make sure it fits the newer "D" lens too. Could probably use the newer heavy duty long throw BB linear servos from HH and make it really small and light. The ones on the 130x would work great I'm sure.

Yes a D lens case with servo mounting options would be great... Those linear servos are only 4.2v max though they get hot on 5v I wouldnt trust them for a pan tilt ((Dont want to burn out looking sideways)

What about a nice plastic pan tilt for 5.8ghz patch antennas? most are only 2" square and all of the current pan tilts are big enough for about 4 of these...

small compact box for eagle eyes with pan tilt on top... something like that I would order two airwave RX modules and solder them in for a tiny GS!

Explain what you mean. What is the x67 lens? Are you saying you like it better than the #16 D lens?
I would spend any time developing anything for the #11, it is dying. The #16 is being actively developed for FPV and AP, and it's new firmware makes the #11 obsolete.
Focus your attention the #16.

True... as soon as I got my first #16v2 with D lens (And ordered D lenses for my other #16v1's) I gave my #11 to some kids on my street.

Well I have few #16 with regular lens and I glued in 67 macro but its a sloppy job
I got to go now but will post some pix and details tomorrow.
