I don't have much for comparison, but I think that is a good price for a license... I have certainly heard many stories of people paying much more.


@BigMoeBBQ~ Do you still have those night flyer airframes? I forget if you had Eluminators or SuperTroyWings... I will take 1-2 of em if you do.

I got my Private Pilot License back in 1999, cost me about $5500.00 including my Books and ect. Got mine in 52 hours, they wont let you get em in 40 hours. They will stretch it out as long as they can! More Hours equals more Money for them I Trained in a Piper Warrior. I owned a Challenger II, I put 100 hours on it before I started Training to get my Privates. I could Fly the Dog out of my Challenger, just needed to be Legal! I also gave Frank the Training that he needed to Fly his Challenger. I basically Flew with Frank until he could Safely Take Off and Land his Challenger. The Challenger is a Stick and Rudder Airplane, its a little bit more difficult to Fly than your Pipers with Yokes for Steering.
