If you get 40 that's very good.

Guys, I have a devo 10/100mw power with rx-1002 but at around 500 mt I almost crashed my flip fpv quad due to signal loss, and when I seen the ground coming it suddenly pickef back my input and I could save it. What went wrong? How could I fit an hawkeye lrs tx on my devo? Can it be done?
Tx

Many things could have gone wrong, signal shadowing, receiver sensitivity, trees, etc.

That hawkeye LRS is a PPM module so in theory it should work (even with stock firmware trainer port -> module input). I would recommend running Deviation for full benefits.

Ok...but how can it be connected to the devo 10? This lrs comes as a module direct fitting to a flysky th9x for example. Anyone used this on a devo? Also os there any chance to import my models in the deviation firmware?
Thanks

The East he(it) possible to go(take) up him(it) in the devo and " to have the telemetry on the devo?

Otherwise, what is the best solution?
I seen well that he(it) had modules there has to go(take) up CC2500 / A7105 and other.
The what is the best?
Thank you

You'll need the CC2500 module. Note that FrSky telemetry support is still in it's early stages.

Here's the module that I have in my Devo12s: http://bit.ly/1w08Z14

There is a non-plugable module which could get PPM input off the trainer port on the Devo. Keep in mind I don't have one so I have no idea if it works or not. Deviation is probably your best friend as you can tweak the PPM output.

PM me if you need help with Deviation.

On the other hand I cpuld get a frsky tx+rx kit for 40$ on hk website and ppl claimed 2. Km range... Don't know where to be heading...Guess the flysky tx compatible with the 9xr is not working with my devo? Tx again

You can get a CC2500 module, add it to your Devo10, pop the main antenna uFL connector off and attach it to the CC2500 module. Use another short antenna for the stock module or take it off altogether.

I did the above once but I never tested range outside maybe 300m. YMMV.

But, you still need Deviation for this.

PM me if you need a CC2500, I have 2 extra and I'm in Bucharest.

Hi guys, I have DEVO 10 and deviation 3.0.0 installed.
So I have there all my models programmed (also have a backup of them on my hdd). I'm wondering, if I install the 4.0.1 would be the problem with model configuration? I mean loading them to the updated tx and binding, stick responses...
Have anybody of you had problem with that?
Also what about the range of the DEVO 10 with new deviation, is it better or how is your max range?
I read something about range increase with patch antenna - what is it?
And do you think, the Devo 10 is enough for expensive birds such as 700L? Or should I upgrade for Devo 12? is it more reliable?
Thank for your advices, I know there is quite more questions

Copying the model config files should be fine, but make sure you use the rest of the new filesystem. Only copy the models directory from your 3.0 TX. You may need to do some reconfiguration for switches.

a) plug uFL to radio module

c) normal antenna SMA out from booster
Hello, I just went thru this thread a bit and found your post here.

Do you think its possible to upgrade my Devo 10 by this components?

antenna and cable?
Or the antenna's dBi is too high?

Thank you.

The pigtail is fine, but that antenna has an RP-SMA connector, instead of the required standard SMA connector. There should be a pin in the middle of the antenna connector. Something like this would be suitable: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Antenna-2-4G-...item1e898cae20
