It does fly nice and does what it is meant to do.

I would like to see the rudder given up for ailerons. I feel the rudder is only usful for ground steering in this type of plane, but it has no wheels.

It would take an additional rotating servo twin arm connected to each aileron and another connection of one side of the double arm to the slider servo.

Actually, I was thinking of using the rudder servo connected like you have the 3rd servo connected. The P51 does not need a rudder.

Thanks for the pictures.

If possible, could you send me that plane so I can get a better close up view?

I swiped these pictures from Horison's site for the Parkzone Sukhoi Su-26m BNF, I am waiting on 2 of them. One to bind up to my DX7 and fly, and the other as a donor for the radio gear and motor for the 2dogrc and Axon P51. Which will also be on the DX7
You will see a link on this page for all the pictures.

BarnYard,
Glad to see it flying! Can you do me a favor and measure the distance of the wingtip to table, but the inlet hanging over the edge of the table. I am trying to collect as many of these settings as possible.

Also, Josh has started a Mod thread, and it would be great to see how it turns out with Ailerons only. The cool thing is, we left this plane open for alot of mods!

Question is, would that amount of dihedral make ailerons useless?

It seems to me that the wings would have to have much less, but would it still fly as well?

I guess I might not know until I try.
