GPH346 and Bell 222 Mechanics
Does anyone know if the GPH346 mechanics will fit Century's 50-size Bell 222
fuselage, and what (if any) mods are required? I haven't been able to find any metrics (e.g. main shaft to tail distance, fuselage width, length, height, etc) and Century's tech support couldn't elaborate and seemed very unfamiliar with the kit, so I'm turning to you guys and your vast store of helicopter knowledge. In addition to general dimensional fit issues: The GPH346 has its tail rotor on the left side (like the full-sized Bell 222), but all the photos I've found show a right-side t/r. I think I can rebuild the t/r gearbox so that the t/r is on the other side, but I'd rather not since it belongs on the left. Maybe the scale kit is able to handle either type? Anyone know? -- Gp greg@pinckPANTIESneys.net (remove panties to reply) |
