I felt lucky to be there. So much more than just an indoor fly-in. Truly an amazing experience.

Frank, what has been the response to the open flying this year? Any consensus?

I didn't have a problem with it but some guys I talked to were reluctant to put up their treasured models with all the traffic. Maybe next year they'll come with planes they are not so worried about being damaged. I can say that I got a lot more flying in this year, and didn't miss the lines one little bit. So for me the open flying was a positve step.

However it worked out in general, it's good to see that you are willing to try new things to satisfy your customer. Kudos!
