Today i started building the winches for the outriggers and olso
the 2 winches for the lower boom. I will post some pics tomorrow.


This nice PT boat well detailed was built by our member John Basta.

Hey rich i know it well my friend docks his boat at the brooklyn yacht club we go fluke fishing every weekend in the summer as for sailing gerritsen beach inlet is pretty cool ,"now" it dosen't pay too many idiots on jet ski's there they would only destroy what you worked so hard on

Here 's a picture of the winch that i built for the 2 pulleys on
the lower boom. I used the plastic mounting parts that are used
to attach the closet poles, if anybody likes it and you want to build
one you will need 2 sets for each winch, you can only use the right side.
The winch in the rear will be done next week i have to go and pick up
some more plastic parts. These 2 winches are for the outriggers.

Here's one of the new tugs at last week show, built from the
Shelly Foss hull, by Steve Hubber. Our member Steve is very
good in detailing and weathering models.
