Extending an Antenna

I want to put one of my DLG's antenna down the wing, and was wondering
what wire I should use to accomplish this? Also, what wire can I use
to extend a JR600 receiver as well, which is in my 3M?

Thanks

Chris

Wire? Doesn't matter. I've used a steel pushrod and the junky wire that was
laying in my junk drawer. Just be sure the installation is flat, relatively
straight and of equal length to the stocker (~ 41 inches for 72Mhz). AND
that it will be able to handle whatever flex may occur. Also be darned
certain of your connection/joint.

Re: Extending an Antenna

Hi Chris --

Magnet wire works great - I've used it in a few DLGs, and to Bill's
point, the joint is pretty important
