No, it makes a lot of sense in English.
Sparkfun is pure profit, over 100% on every component they sell. Thus, it's as if they're printing their own money. Nintendo is/was used to be referred to same way.

I dont found it, you (jürgen) use those sensors not me.
I am not related in any way to Sparkfun.
Please have in mind big consumer electronic companys will laugh about 100% profit for a working unit.

no he dont, you see the (sparkfun) sensors on top, as you can see on picture, (Jürgens) its only a shield like many others, i dont want to comment further on it, sorry Jürgen.

I also don't really see a point for making a new *duino board as a shield unless you're integrating all the sensors on it. Breakout boards are way too expensive and with directly attaching everything you need on pcb it becomes lighter, smaller, etc. If you're going to the trouble of making your own PCBs, why not. Anyway whatever.

Also the size is nice. 5x5cm fits on most copter projects (a standard for KK & MK boards). If we combine it with Jussi's IMU we'll have a great base for multirotors!

The 4,5x4,5cm holes make it easy to produce stacks for the sensor boards like this:

I disagree on that...

Sensor technology is moving by an alomost exponential rate these days, so to tie a design to a certain sensor solution right now, would to me be a limiting factor! - some want the "full monty sensor array" while others are perfectly happy with just a WMP!

And in two months from now you will all be raving again over some new sensor that just hit market with something like "9Dof/GPS MPU that can tell the direction and velocity of your farts" or something else to that effect....

One of my big beefs with almost all current Duinos, is the fact, that either they are DIP-package like the smaller ones, or else they all seem to be more or less derived from the original Diecemila footprint.... and excuse me for saying so: That one must have been dreamed up by a designer who drank too much poor italian red wine. An assymetric board, with only 3 holes for mounting and a downright stupid pin placement and spacing....its just not a very good solution in terms of mounting or fitting to multirotor helis!

I think Paul has come with something good here - It almost perfectly suits my needs for a flexible "Mega" flight-duino with relevant inputs and outputs in a formfactor that makes sense!

(If I were to make one comment it would be to move the motor and RX headers to the outline of the board and converting them to angular ones, so that plugs goes into the side of board instead of from top!)

420RCPilot is completly right, i also think its the better choice to seperate the sensors.
At least this gives you better vibration dampenig options, and believe Jussi, he knows every Sensor.
