Covering Irons

Is it just me or does the temperature knob on your covering iron seem to creep up on you while you are covering?

Have been using Monokote for over 30 years and have used several types of irons.

Just wondering.

The thermostat on my last two Tower covering irons crapped out within the first year. I had to plug them into my soldering iron controller to regulate the temp. My Coverite iron has been working great for the last 4 planes.
