Yes, it's the cheap Futaba clone from Hobbyking. I don't use it in heading lock mode though. Although that can be helpful in some situations (eg learning prop-hanging!), it does interfere with the natural characteristics of the aeroplane. For example, when you bank a model like this, you expect it to turn and begin to drop its nose, not try to fly knife edge.

That's just what I found with a single channel gyro on the ailerons in Ivan's Lakemaster. Actually, without the gyro, if you start the turn with the rudder, that plane drops its nose, you need to take care not to overbank, it seems to me. With the gyro, it stays flat and level. You need to add some bank.
