Once again, when and where can this plane be purchased?

Probably needs a little more side fuse area and the flared trailing edge on the rudder would be 2 suggestions. For lots of vertical uplines you'll be needing to fly 4s. Blake says the light Glacier 4s 1800mah packs are just the ticket. Also for added performance Falcon 13 x 6.5 carbon prop is the perfect combo. Maybe a big checker pattern on the bottom of wings and elevator for better visual. This is a smaller airframe as you can see by the vid! My .02

I don't think a large foam F3A nope makes sense, especially since HK has the Mellizo bipe already

FMS makes the 60" Olympus F3A. Foam makes sense if you don't want to spend a grand to get a Wind S 50e in the air! A good way to test the waters for pattern if you don't want to spend a good chunk on a 2m plane or even some of the smaller 60"
balsa pattern planes. Plus the Mellizo more of an aeromusical design and not strictly pattern like the Arcus is. Although they will both harrier OK!

I thought the Mellizo was more of a copy of the Miss Wind, which I think is a little bit F3A.
The Airoso is a bit of a copy of the Wind 50.

The WingsMaker Commander (AirMaster) 40ep is a decent low cost EPO practice/entry level sport pattern plane IMHO.

The Wingsmaker is a nice 4s size practice ship. The Sequence is also a great 4s pattern trainer and it's built up. The also make a balsa version of the Commander-40 another nice entry level bird.

Oh please make a 6s version of this airframe! I have my NEU Geared power plant ready to slide right into it. I would be forced just to go buy my own Canon HD camera at this point for some excellent quality footage!

Blake

P.S- I have another little fun video of the Ozones (Arcus) versatility being shown that I will be posting hopefully by this weekend.'STAY TUNED!

I got one of the Arcus from HK. Is there a manual for the ESC anywhere? The airplane manual talks briefly about how to turn off the brake, but nothing on setting throttle end points or any other info on the ESC. Is there a programmer that will work with it?

Only took me about 45 minutes to put it together. Nicely constructed.

Better servos would be nice. I ordered some 9 gram digitals to put in it that I've used before. The ones in this plane have a fair amount of deadband, and appear to be analog. One has a very sloppy output shaft. They will probably be fine for most people though.

Not sure a Hobbywing ESC programmer will work but might be the one that does. Doubt that the stock speed control is set up for a real pattern flyer's needs. We already knew a 3s system would be a "sport" setup so we figured out a good 4s system with a CC Ice 50 that could be programmed. Also went with MKS DS6100 servos-works on a 4lb Sequence so they work extra good on this lighter airframe. 45oz. of torque from a 9gram servo @ 5v! And they center perfectly. Probably have to contact HK to see which programmer might work. I think you might have to do it the old fashioned way-with the radio!
