I'm surprised the mold hasn't degraded to the point of non use already.

But classic kit. There will never be another one like it.

I suppose they are just piggybacking off of the existing Honda and Suzuki licenses they have from other products.

Well tamiya seem to be doing ok out of re-releasing stuff so why not.
Let's face it, if any kit deserves a re-release its a Kyosho 'HOR'

The club in Hong Kong does it best, no guide wires and racing!
The bike is normally pretty cheap. Its the spares, option parts, servo, motor, ESC and batteries that cost you. Count on spending up to $500 to set one up with all the right stuff.

Up to date team graphics..?

At the least maybe they could update the graphics to today's teams..?

And or just update the body work and keep the same chassis..?

Yes, I know doing all new graphics would be costly but they'd be attracting new customers that weren't born when Schwantz or Rainey were racing...

My .02

O.K. here's the latest after I just got off the phone with Derrick at Kyosho... He said that you'll be able to buy the bikes direct, they should have already received them in their warehouse this month of November 2014,but the port is in some type of strike and there was a fire at the port so shipments are being delayed...

The cost will be $136 and you'll need a radio, servo, battery, and speed control...

Not a bad price in my opinion.
Still a good bike after all these years.

IMO if you haven't seen Rainey and Schwantz then you haven't seen racing.

Here's a classic, check out 3 minutes into the vid and watch to the end of the race.
Hockenheim 1991 (4/4) Schwantz vs Rainey (10 min 49 sec)

In terms of a slightly more modern fairing has anyone tried fitting the ZH racing lower fairing? This is a HOR I brought earlier this year but I haven't really done much with it but I will, the plan was crashbarless and brushless.

I've never been good at making fairings fit, just ask my old KP so I'm sure someone could do a better job
