I added the orange fade at the nose to be different. I'm going to be ordering a set of FAST Sails for this one. The "Brunel" was masked and cut and painted. Took a bit of time but got it pretty close anyways.

Here are a few clips from this weekends sailing at the canal. A new sailor came along this week after watching from a distance for a little while, including watching our State Summer Series in 30 knot winds. Much nicer this weekend with lots of sun and nice gentle breezes for the first time in some weeks.

Kyle:

Any reason why you are doing starboard roundings on the leeward mark? Not that you can't do it, but the RRS are written with port roundings in mind.

Hi Foamcrusher.

Absolutely no reason why we rounded to starboard on the leeward side. Our exploits on the day was not serious racing at all, just a play and some fun on the day tuning a few of the yachts to the new sails.

In the end, what is life without whimsy

My experience is that any time two boats meet on the water it is serious racing. ;^)

Have wind. Have fun.

First of all Congrats Hugh, hope to see you at a DF regatta soon!!

That new getting Started issue is still under production and should be done in the next week or so...
