Anyone flying the Tandem Rescue - have you found a good supplier for replacement batteries? Or a tested alternative? Thanks.

Suppliers that have/had them are out of stock or want outrageous shipping to Canada.

Hmmm...I just get mine from my LHS. They keep them in stock, apparently. I haven't needed to buy any new ones in a while (yet) Have you tried Amazon?

My Tandem Rescues were bought second hand and I only have one decent battery.

I live in a city of 15,000 and we do not have a LHS. The closest LHS to me is in a slightly larger city about a 2-1/2 hour return drive, and has very limited parts. They will order in what you want but then you have to drive back there again in 7-10 days to pick up the parts.

I need an online supplier, but not the one on ScamBay that wants $25.75 shipped! Our amazon.ca is nothing like amazon.com. If I order from US suppliers I pay duty plus taxes (except from Clubheli for some reason). I'm pretty much stuck with waiting on Chinese suppliers - cheap, no duty or taxes, but slow.

Do you feel sorry for me yet?

I bought my Tandem second hand and it had one E-flite battery which has now retired to lipo heaven.

Since I have quite a few of these Turnigy 600mA for my 120SR I made up an adapter cable to fit the Tandem and Turnigy.
Then just fasten the Turnigy with an elastic band, job done and I am flying

I have lots of 500-600mah batteries for my Solo Pro 328 and v929 Quad.

Has anyone tried a MCPX 300mah battery? They are longer but should fit in ok.

You'll need a plug adapter. mcpx uses a different plug style.

OK thanks. They kind of look the same to my old eyes so I wasn't sure.

If I had bought 3 or 4 of these then I would had to go ahead and buy the mcpx to fit them. So you saved me - I think?

In my case the 'what' is my wallet and the high purchase and travel cost of an LHS from here. I am hoping for great things from the WL CP.
