Ok so here is what I have so far for FPV gear

GoPro HD (will be using Live video out and recording in HD)
800mw 900mhz vtx/vrx
900 MHz Vee Antenna
Fatshark RCV922 Aviator Edition Goggles
Dx6i with 1watt booster mod
HK Epp Fpv plane running 2 Turnigy 3000mah 3s 40c batteries in parallel

so if i am not using a seperate battery for my VTX how do I wire in a LC filter ? will the servo wire in the filter be able to handle the power draw from the batteries?
also my VTX says it runs on 12v should this be ok to run straight off the 3s lipos?

Thanks

Put the filter in series with the power wires to the vodeo system. Servo wires are plenty big.

Neither. You'd never use that wire onboard your plane.
Most people tap off the big power plug that feeds your ESC
with a smaller gauge wire to go feed all your other FPV gear.
The LC filter should be the first thing on that wire,
and from it, you branch out to your 12V Tx, a 5v BEC if you need one.. etc.

Daemon to clarify my question
That wire in that picture is from my gopro hd camera it will go between the camera and VTX what i need to do is cut it and solder it to a standard servo wire to plug into my VTX the only part of that wire I will be using is the 2.5mm mono plug end .
my question was should I cut it before the " filter " or what ever that thing is or after and leave that thing on there ?

Thanks

Having a straight plug hanging out there is a great way to break it off,
and damage the A/V socket in the camera.

(Do not fly with a R/C frequency higher than the video frequency (e.g. 2.4GHz R/C, 900MHz video)

???? this is not possible to use 2.4 for controll and 900MHZ (910) for video ?

It will work fine. The problem is harmonics specifically with the 1.2GHz transmitters. The first order harmonic of 1.2GHz is 2.4GHz and could seriously inhibit the range of your 2.4 GHz radio system. Using 900 MHz video should be fine.

You need a filter. use a "Sander style" filter on the power wires to your video system. There are pictures in the guide at the beginning of this thread.
