Thank you for adding that important detail.

Foam safe CA is a poor bonding material for EPO. Regular Med -CA with kicker is best.

I'll be sure to add some of that to my cart next time I order something.

Great work, Ian. What about your head after all that spinning? And, did you find that poor GoPro?

From your vids, my conclusions in post #5343 still stand.

Did you find out that left spins are easy to enter than right?
Did you balance your wing laterally??

Ya. Pointing down in the spin moments before gave me an idea of where I was
positioned relative to the railroad tracks. OSD told me the distance from
base station and speed. Dropping the camera at 35mph from 630ft up
means it'll travel roughly another 100 yards. Did a few calculations and marked
the center of the search area on Google Earth. We ran out there, and I found
it in the short grass inside of 3 minutes. Camera was ok, but it had ejected
the card, so no video of the fall. Without a ground recording, it would have been
totally impossible to find.

Yes, my particular X8 will only spin to the left. The scariest spin started
with an attempt to go right, but it still snapped to the left. There's no
obvious reason why it prefers left but the plane is a bit beat up.

Most planes decide which direction they prefer to spin based on the prop orientation with regard to rotation and thrust line. Try doing some spins with power off in both directions and see how the lack of motor torque effects it.

Should be fairly obvious from the video, that the motor was off for *every* spin.

Today i made my first flght with the x8 wing and i am sorry but it doesn't work, i made the correct cg and i went up on a hill where we fly with gliders to make a first fly more easy and secure.
But the x8 was put it noese up on the sky and then stall. i did 3 times then i quit.
Please can you tell me how much weight you put on to correct the cg?
i think to make fly this delta it needs to go fast and never get slowly if not it stall, is it correct?
Thanks Alex

It's hard (almost impossible) to hand launch the X8 without power. The problem
is the finger holes are well below the center of mass, so when you try to throw
it hard, it pitches upward and tip stalls, because it won't fly without at least 15-20mph
of airspeed. A running launch with the nose down might work from a hill,
but it's a lot easier to just power up and let the thrust keep it from pitching up.
