Got some radio guts coming, and a V-tail mixer staring me in the face. I thought I would see what people had to say about the B2, but I can't find any threads on it. I know they're out there, but they're just not showing up in the search.

Anyone flying it? Issues? Problems? Thoughts? Links?

Right! I was referring to how there are threads here on RCGroups dedicated to all the other planes, but I cannot find any about the B2! It's important, because all planes have certain things about them that may need attention such as the Zeros wing incidence, warbird landing gear, horiz stabilizer struts on the 109, etc.

Has noone bought this plane?

there were several threads on this B2. When doing your search, make sure you use advanced search and make sure it searches previous years also. default may only go back several weeks or months.

The proto type had flown with EM300H motors.

If replace with B2045 motor, you get almost 3 times thrust!

But, are you an expert to hanle this situation?

I used the advanced search, and I checked threads back to 2001. Maybe B2 doesn't have enough letters? It did the same thing when I told it to search for an exact phrase.

I found the problem, I think advanced search is broken (as of midnight last night). All of my advanced searches come out the same, showing the same threads. That makes no sense Used the regular "non advanced" search, and BAM! There are the threads.

Wafnu, I got a deal on 2 new in the box for $60 on ebay. Full kit not s/g. They have 150's tho not 300's. Here's some mods. on test stand got good trust readings but in the plane the intakes are way to restricted cutting the thrust in half. ! pic is stock and the rest are varying stages of opening it out. The tops could be opened more. I almost doubled the thrust doing this. There's a lot of meat in ft of the fans so weakening isn't an issue. Also check the EDF site on here for more. I haven't flown it as I'm a great builder, lousy pilot, yet anyway. There is another thread on GWS site here with further mods. If'in you ain't found it yet I'll hunt her up fer ya! Cliff mods

on mines, i took some spare foam i had and created fully enclosed ducts to do away with the expansion loss in the aft end. looked pretty decent even if it was flat, and only added about .75 inch of depth at that point.

And if anyone is reading this that used to have a hobby shop, or has one and the B2's refuse to sell, give me a deal I can't refuse!

Try looking at the B2 thread on page 4 of this (GWS) forum. It is about 16th. down on that page.
