45 year old Baby Flite Streak

Was going to post these pics in a couple of on going Baby FS threads, but, figured it would be better if I started my own.

Beautiful aircraft!

Still a graceful machine after all these years!

One of the easiest 1/2A planes to teach with. Very stable. Lots of wing area. Too bad they don't kit them anymore. Brodak makes one now but I believe it is slightly larger.

The Brodak Flite Streaks are the original as designed by George Aldrich. I don't know if there are any size differences between the Top Flite and Brodak Baby Flite Streaks.

My new one is a Brodak kit, about 27" wingspan. I don't know how that compares to the old ones. I bet that really was a tame trainer with a Golden Bee/Black Widow on it. My new Baby hauls ass with a Tee Dee on it. Nice engine mount on than one in the above picture.

The Top Flite version has a span of 24.5" and 143Sq inches of area. It is a smaller airframe than the Brodak, just right for the Cox reed valve bee engines.

A TeeDee would give you the ride of a lifetime on one of the Top Flite airframes.
