Help!
reciever for jr radio

Can anyone help me find a good low doller receiver for my Jr radio. I just crashed because I flew out of range and I'm kinda tired of spending 30 bucks
a shot for junk receivers.

What kind of receivers have you been using. I use jr 610m receivers as a preferred piece of equipment and have never had a problem. It is a full range receiver. Also what have you been using them in? If you go to the Aircraft-General-Radio Equipment (fs/w) you can pick up the 610 receiver for under the $30.00 you have mentioned. Even if it is on the wrong channel the crystal new is $14.00 from horizon.

Sorry I should hve mentioned the 610m is a 610ul in a plastic case instead of shrink wrap. Now days if you buy new you can only get the case.

The Berg 4L is $28-32.00, on sale for $23.00 and used, here for about $20.00
It is auto-shift, so it works with most Tx's. It has 1 mile range and the rx locks on to your tx. I have turned on a second Tx on the same channel and it would not move the rx till I turned off the first one. It weighs only 5 grams and is made in the USA.

Third for Berg. Also, you might want to consider a corona synthesized reciever. Corona is pretty good too.
