Even though the dihedral is off I stick kinda want this plane. Feewing makes some good planes. I could overlook the dihedral on this plane, but not the FMS 1.7 corsair

Looks like they are trying to re invent the wheel with the landing gear strut design. Nice looking plane.

Ya looks like they took those struts from one of their edfs. I'd definitely be swapping those out for scale struts.

Notice how hot he had to land it? Something tells me this model like all the other T6's on the market is always on the edge of a tipstall.

Free wing AT-6

I got AT-6 from RC Castle. And I will show you my video.
This AT-6 has some dissatisfaction points.
1. As you said:it has no dihedral on the outer wing .
2.Main gear is not perpendicular to wing lower surface.
3.Flap is not split type.(I modify flap to operate)
4.Need 170g weight for adjust CG.(TTL WT is 2310g with 14.8V 2200mAh BATT)
5.Need propeller balance adjust.(this video is before adjust)
Anyway my video as follows,

FREEWING AT 6 2nd FLT (1 min 20 sec)

There's also something not-quite-right about the shape of the rudder too, I think. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it just doesn't ring true somehow - perhaps the very rear part of it has a curve which has too large a radius?
Perhaps I'm just a pedant, but when I look at it, it has me instantly questioning whether it is in fact an AT-6 or perhaps some other plane.

flaps

Hi Yamada, in your video you seem to fly always with flaps in starting position. Why? Just to keep the speed slow? Or is this the cause for your nick?

I ordered one here in Germany and hope to receive it by the end of this week: Is any material added for the flaps (pushrods etc.)? Would it be possible to dismount the additional balance weight by using a heavier Lipo?

Thanks.

I received the AT-6 today. All parts look very stable and the surface is really good. First impression: Best manufactured foamie I ever had! All material for the flaps is encluded but the servos.

Lots of space for my 4S3200 mAh Lipo. No glue needed - only srews. Looking forward to build it next weekend!
