Today i made the shelf for the motors and the electronics.
Glued in the stuffing boxes for the shafts and for the rudders.
Set up the motor mounts and glued them in exept for the 4
side mounts that will be glued in after paint.
Will post pic tomorrow night.

Here's a pic of the motors mounted. I glued in 4 pieces of pine with slots
that i cut on the table sow so that i could remove the motors .
By doing that i was able to move the motors back and forth to set them up
and line them up with the shafts.

Really clean work Paul, those wood mounts are NICE !

Nice work on the bilge. I must say it is one of the cleaner donzi bilges I have seen! Most guys just throw stuff together thinking it's never going to be seen but I guess you and I are alike in the fact that everything needs to be in order!

Coming aIong really nice, Paul. James is really fortunate you are doing the build for him.

I am working feverishly on a current build so that I will be ready to start on this hull that John and I will be getting very soon. This shot is mine coming out of the mold in Nova Scotia.

Bill that's really cool, I never seen a hull coming out of the mold.
You have to post pics on here as you will build it ! Looks like a nice hull.

I bought the Jolly Jay it's 24" L and 81/2 beam.
I am going to use the keel and the ribs and i will re draw them
to make a trawler 42L with a 14" beam.
It will be my next project , Just have to work out the best way to
go about getting to those dimentions it should look like the
thompson trawler but bigger.
