this is a no thrills setup for short range tree busting, plane chase and the occasional cloud busting. So no OSD and only pan on the camera. with the 2200 3S battery I get easy 10-15 mins flights.the plane is fast and agile and relatively stable. keep it light though or it will bite on take off

The second one could take off easily, I just lauched it at a 60 ° angle and it went to the clouds: I had a six series e-flite inrunner on it ![]() This one will be in the middle. So how is your AUW ? |

Put the wing/ailerons together on the Senorita, very nice ARF. I used mechanical aileron differential this time, will leave me an extra channel free.
Received my headplay goggle mask from Rob38, it was a little damaged in shipment, but will be useable. A big improvement over the stock HP visor. Pretty stylish? heh?

One thing with the Vizio. Don't let your voltage drop too low. I was flying today and the 1st flight was uneventful, but about 1/2 way through the 2nd flight, my monitor went black. At first I thought my transmitter had failed, but then I realized I could still hear the plane. I then thought maybe my camera had come unplugged. And after I landed (I still had to fly around for a while the old fashion way), I check all the connections and everything seemed fine. I then tried to bring the menu on the monitor and couldn't see anything. I looked real close at the monitor, and I could barely see an image. I thought my back light or inverted had gone bad. After I got home, I figured out it that the back lights had gone out due to low voltage, when I put it on the A/C adapter, it worked fine. (at this time I already had my battery on the charger, so I don't know at what voltage it goes out). I plan on putting some type of voltage monitor in my ground station so I don't get surprised again.

Skies cleared out yesterday afternoon so went flying. Fortunately the club road had been opened and I could go all the way to the clubhouse. But there was so much snow everywhere I had to fly in the parking.
Since it was windy (very) I flew for a while behind the back hatch of my car, but seeing all that comfortable (and heated) space inside the car got over me. I decided to try flying inside the car. I installed everything inside, started the car with the heater on, lauched the plane and....had the most comfy winter flying ever ! Turned out 2,4 Ghz and FPV video link resisted nicely to the car metal body. VRx was on the dashboard with the antenna under the windshield. No glitch. Video coming somewhere today
