Thanks for the recap!
I need to get my Eagle out again...
I've been flying 3D too much lately.

Gator8 - that is too funny....super great job on the talons and hmmmm Gulf Salmon? - LOL

Excellent FPV stuff too from this bird.....did you add any extra wing support rods...I see my bird flex quite a lot in gusty winds or a hard bank.....would think this happens to yours as well.

I also find that in certain conditions.....I can overpower the tail feathers...so when applying power thrust to get back into shape or snap out of a dive......no go...abort abort....pretty sure the tail feathers are flexing....thinking of CF slatting my tail feathers and beefing up my control rods.

Really looks good in flight.......as you were tracking down the fence line....reminded me of the Pelicans skimming the tops of cresting waves while surfing Scripps Beach San Diego .....

We need a Pelican R/C flyer!!

Often times when I fly my FlyParty Eagle here at a local ball park.....people don't know it's and R/C until I catch it by hand. This is strange to me as most eagles don't fly low figure eights five foot off the ground....and last I heard.....Eagles are protected and are not legal as Pets - LOL

Anyway - my FP Eagle gets just as much flight time or more than my other big planes as I can easily and quickly get down to the park and in the air in about five minutes from my hangar.

Thanks for posting....and setting us all up for flying with a catch!!!!

LOL, that's supposed to be a mullet!

didn't add any support in the wing. I agree with you, high speed can blow the EPP out of flying form so I usually just cruise around.

turned out my crash was an overheated 18A ESC, swapped in a 30A ESC and flew 3-25 minute flights in 90+ degree heat, all went well!

A pelican would be awesome!

This is my favorite "stealth" FPV rig

gator,

Good video, thanks for posting.

What camera are you using on your Eagle? I might have to give stealth FPV a try.

I use this cam or earlier version
http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...oducts_id=1275

I have it on a tilt servo so I can look down
vTx is mounted in center of wing and easy to remove by splitting wing
