Drunken airline pilots

Three gallons of beer in a 6-hour period. Flying six hours later. Blew 0.8 on the breath-a-lizer.

I'm walking next time!!!

I wonder if the pilot or the co-pilot had the martini for lunch instead of a burger???

I don't know what you're all getting so steamed up about.

I saw a tv documentary recently that suggested Aeroflot pilots won't fly unless they've been drinking - it makes them forget the maintenance standards or something.

What do you call the auto-pilot button on an America West plane? The designated driver.

How many pilots does it take to fly an America West plane? Two and a fifth

Why is there a legal crew 'rest' time for America West Pilots? They
need time to sober up between flights.

Well it's flying anyway not like driving a car. Another plane's not gonna suddenly pull out in front of them where their reaction time is gonna matter. They just keep the thing at the altitude and heading that was predetermined and cruise until they auto land. I mean what gave them away? Were they swerving down the taxi lane?

A retired commercial pilot told me that a few bullet exit holes in the fuse of a DC-10 or whatever, is no problem.
He did say that a window missing, or part of one( meaning a much smaller hole) would suck a passengr out, regardless if they were wearing a seatbelt or not.
Quite a picture...
