Xbus is the way to do it. With 14 servos you might need it for power distribution. What are you trying to do?

If you use xbus you can have more that 14 servos if you do things like multiple servos on a surface.

At least it's senselessly, both Rx will have 1-7ch channels mapping. Without support at Rx you can't get 8-14ch channels mapping. But Xbus always carry all possible Tx channels.

I'm not trying to do anything, just curious.
Thanks for the answers.

And if I'm using xbus, can I use channel 8 with xbus or I need the zero channel receiver?

Any channel can be assigned to xbus adapter or servo independent of the dedicated channels on the rx.

So if you had two elevator servos, you could connect both to an xbus adapter and run just one cable back to the tail.

Xbus does require some programming to assign channels to adapters or xbus capable servos. You can also set reversing and centers and travels on xbus. The reason for that is you can have up to 4 servos on a channel so that us where you adjust each servo.
