Nice. I want to get my Hero3 up on the tricopter during a snow storm shooting at 120fps
to try to slow the falling flakes. Problem is just visibility. I've found that you need a
dark background to see the snow in the air.

Anyway, in the theme of flying in falling snow.. Shot a couple days ago on a
10 degree F (-12C) day. Pretty stiff breeze meant we could only handle
being outside for a minute or two.

FPV - Cold snowy flight. (7 min 24 sec)

One advantage to it being this cold, is the snow doesn't stick to the camera lenses.
Had to tape over the vents in the fuse to keep the battery from over-cooling.
Very first flight, battery was outside for about 5 minutes. When I went to launch
the voltage immediately dropped below LVC and had to land 50 feet away.
Tape wouldn't stick to anything. Wires to the camera and tilt servo stiffened
up to the point of cracking.

Seriously. I had to re-do my wing attachment system on my bixler and
change it to a string rather than velcro. I was doing preflight and tested the
wing connection that keeps them on the fuse with the stick on velcro I use
and it just popped right off the foam. I thought "I guess I'll just use duct
tape.." pull out the roll, and it doesn't stick to anything either.

My batteries also drop voltage much more quickly. Sucks. Losing a good
chunk of flight time simply due to how cold it is.

HD OSD TEST (2 min 30 sec)

It is a neat effect, but my first impression once it's full screen on my big
monitor, is that the OSD overlay text and symbols could be a lot smaller.
They don't need to dominate the screen to be legible at HD resolution.
